Kenyon stoves--for you?

Post by David Brownlee »

Over the past few years we've replaced the Kenyon pressure alcohol stoves on two successive CDs. I'd be glad to part with the stoves for free. You'd just have to pick them up in Havre de Grace.

Both are undamaged, although both need to have their fuel burners repaired/adjusted/replaced. We just got tired of messing with them and switched to Origos.

The stoves are

MODEL 209B ca. 1980 (from a CD 27)
built-in two-burner counter-top unit. Comes with cutting board and pot holder.

MODEL 550 ca. 1983 (from a CD 31)
gimbaled two-burner stove with oven. Comes with pot holder, remote fuel tank, hoses, and pressure gauge.

Send me an email if you're interested.

I think I have a taker for this one:
MODEL 550 ca. 1983 (from a CD 31)
gimbaled two-burner stove with oven. Comes with pot holder, remote fuel tank, hoses, and pressure gauge.

But this one is still available:
MODEL 209B ca. 1980 (from a CD 27)
built-in two-burner counter-top unit. Comes with cutting board and pot holder.

This board is an incredible resource and the folks here are just
great! David's sending me his used stove which will be a perfect
replacement for the barely usable one on my Intrepid 9M. Hot
coffee will no longer be a struggle! Thanks, David!
