Don't forget to snap some photos while you work on that boat project, then share them here.

Sole Mate

Post by nhammatt »

I've been thinking about installing a teak cabin sole and was wondering if anyone out there was considering the same and would like to split the cost of a sheet of teak & rubber ply from Boulter in Somerville MA? I could probably be convinced to deliver your half (2X8) sheet in the range of coastal RI-ME.
A full 4X8 sheet is north of $650, not cheap. But solid stock, milled, fabricated and installed can't be less expensive or less time consuming.
let me know if this arrangement would be of interest.

nh,

Have you found a party to share cost of the plywood described in your post? I may be interested. I have several soft spots appearing in the cabin sole of my CD26 and I anticipate replacement is necessary. I live in the south, so I would need it shipped.
