Wanted - Part for older CDI Roller Furler

Post by swhfire21 »

Hello,

I am looking for a part to an older Cruising Design, Inc. (CDI) roller furling system. The furler is a Reefer r. 12 (aluminum airfoil).

The part I am looking for is the halyard top fitting assembly, which is shown in the attached pictures. If you do not have the exact assembly, do you have a similar model with the same sheaves which is really what I need? I would purchase the other model for parts if necessary.

Thanks,

Yes. I received it in about 3 - 4 days by mail.

It seems they have modernized a bit, as the request and quotation were all done over email. The quotation form appeared to have been prepped by computer and indicated that anything for which a price was given was in stock. Maybe they have computerized their inventory system.

I could have placed the order by email as well, but chose to do so by phone. I called it in primarily to confirm availability by a human.

Maybe they have come around. It would be nice to have them as a responsible supplier.
