Hello CDSOA Board,
After eleven years of ownership, we are listing our CD27, Roberta Jane III, for sale. She has been a wonderful boat to own and to sail Lake Michigan off Chicago. Due to family and health changes, she is not getting as much use as she deserves. We motor sailed her six hours to Larsen Marine, Waukegan, Illinois last Sunday where she is now on the hard. Larsen has the listing. http://www.larsenmarine.com/pre-owned-boats.html Asking price is $19,900. If you look at the listing pictures, you will see many influences from the CDSOA Board and I am grateful to the board members for their unselfish help over the years.
I will try to post one picture here. There are many more pictures on the Larsen Marine website.

Mike:
I looked at all 27 photos. She is beautiful Every inch of her is Bristol.
What you did with the halyards leading aft through turning blocks, etc., is exactly what I want to do with S/V Bali Ha'i.
Also, your boarding ladder is a piece of art. Just beautiful, especially the way it hugs the curvature of the topsides. Very impressive

Mike,
We bought our CD27 in Port Washington. She had been named Leprechaun and was sailed our of Chicago. I thought ours looked very nice, but your Roberts Jane III would put ours to shame. Now I have to get back to work, Halyards to the cockpit like you have done and new cushions all around. She is a beautiful 27, somebody will be very happy. Best of luck,

Mike,
That time has come. Just like for me at the end of last season. Mine, was forced, when a boat broke from its moorings in a storm and blew down on my CD27 and heavily damaged her. I'm 71 and wasn't using her much anymore so I'm not looking for another.
I did exactly what you did with halyards and reef lines back to the cockpit. Since I single handed 99% of the time it was THE BEST modification I made to my boat for the 16 years I had her.
Good luck to you!
