Sailing!
Roller furler issues done, and loving it! Facnor LS 60, working great.... AND I will be able to easily change over to a genoa when it's time.
Working jib from North Sails is what it is. And apparently was designed to sheet inside of the shrouds, which actually was ok.
I am overall very happy with North Sails, especially since Nick actually climbed the mast and discovered the fraying forestay. Also, hats off to RigPro---the rigger new exactly what to do, and even was able to unbend the foils after we dropped them. All I can say is, don't put on your own furler (especially emulating the picture with an X through it . But what I thought was going to end up thousands, was "only" hundreds, so we did save some money on restepping the mast and trailering and dragging her into our cove ourselves.
Sailing today, so many people gave Little Red a shout out! Everyone loves her (even the guy who we almost rammed trying to get through the Stonebridge Channel I am ashamed to say....)
I told my friend how I should post pics of our "rail buried" like so many of you do. We were heeling 20-35 degrees, which is a lot for me but so fun.
Happy Sails! Rich, I hope to see you out there soon!

Re: yippeee!
Glad that everything is working out! I saw you go by this morning in that light air, and the brisk sail later after the sea breeze came up! Looks like you were having fun! I'm almost ready to launch, but we're busy the next couple of weeks and then taking ten days to cruise. My goal is to use Caral in the shoulder season so that is definitely achievable. Much more to do, but it can wait. It's time to sail!

Re: yippeee!
Thanks Steven. The paint job was more work than I expected. The previous paint was cracked so I had to dremel, fill, fair, prime, sand, and finally put the color on. Three coats with sanding between each coat. I hope it lasts! The boot top will have to wait. Thanks again for the compliment. I'm pleased with the outcome.
