New bowsprit for 1975 CD 28, need sketch or drawing
Replacing above with new teak. The end of original was split off by dock mishap. Going to use surface mounted bow roller. Anyone have length and/or sketch of original? Original was still rock solid but damaged. Thx, Jim. May email to Jimgregory@cox.net or through CD owners site. Appreciate any help

I don't know if anyone will have a sketch but hopefully the owner of a CD28 can provide the dimensions and a photo of his unmodified original bowsprit so you have a starting point. If your bowsprit has been sheared off completely and you have nothing left to guide you in constructing a new one I can provide photos of my bowsprit to act as a construction example. Good luck.

I have enough of it left to see construction details but not length. It had an anchor roller at the end attached to 2 projections of teak that are gone. The length is the important thing I need as I am going to use a surface mounted roller. Thx

Do you still need this? I have one sitting in the back of my 4runner.
