I have decided to sell my typhoon as I haven't had the time to use it . It currently is in inside storage and has been inside since restored from Keel up in 2008 . Was only used for a couple of seasons and ours are short here on lake erie in New York. Boat spent most of its life on Chautauqua Lake in fresh water so the hull, #699, was in good shape. Hull has original gel coat, topsides painted in Interlux Poly. Bottom was stripped, Barrier Coated, No Blisters!, and VC17 bottom paint applied. Boat sits on custom double axle trailer set up to hold mast and out board motor. Hitch extension to allow launching. Very well sorted boat and perfect for someone who wants, or has to trailer to the water. Boat set up so one person CAN raise/lower mast. Boat comes with two sets of sails and a lot of extra equipment. Was trailer sailed only, hasn't been in water overnight, and has equipment to make safe handling easier. Has complete electrical system, proper navigation lights, solar panel for charging, Lowrance depth finder & chart plotter. Has its original British Seagull Silver Century Plus 5HP outboard, restored to like new. Looks and Runs EXC. Has Recoil starter, Remote Fuel Tank and Remote Tiller Mount Throttle. Sits on Bronze Sparton original type mount. Too many things done to list them all here. Have included a few picture taken when I restored it.
