Cape Dory 14 for sale. Hull number 119. It is in sailing shape, but could use some TLC. I ended up here, looking to sell the boat to someone who will appreciate it.
After searching these pages I'm still not sure of the value of the boat. I'll ask $1000. All reasonable offers will be considered.
Detailed pictures will be taken when it comes out from storage. Here is a picture from last season where the boat lives.
Thanks.
Pickup in Lake Placid, NY.
No trailer.

Re: CD 14 For Sale
Hello - I've been looking for a CD 14. What shape is the sail in? And the woodwork -- especially the seats and rudder. I'm in Maine and would appreciate any further photos you might have, particularly if they can show details.
Thanks,
Gordon

Re: CD 14 For Sale
Hi Gordon,
The sail is average shape for its age I'd say. It's in usable condition, has tape in spots, and is probably near the end of its lifespan. The wood trim is in fair shape, it has gotten a coat of varnish about once a year, but could probably use a hard sanding and clean up. The rudder has been reinforced with oak and works but needs a little love.
I'll take detailed pictures in the next couple days.
Thanks,
Ben
