Opening port gasket jig

This is a picture of a rather elaborate and expensive jig I fabricated to allow me to coat a replacement gasket with contact cement and allow it to "tack up" for a couple minutes before applying it to the channel in the frame. This is something I discussed with Steve Laume but others might find it helpful.

Jim, I liked your jig, so I figured maybe I could make one to help install the gaskets too. Here's what I came up with. It's a
piece of plywood grooved on the radii to help hold the stretched gasket in position. After positioning and pressing the gasket into the
portlight frame, the plywood is removed for the next piece. The plywood does tend to stick to the gasket (because they're
sprayed together), but it comes off pretty easy.
