Don't forget to snap some photos while you work on that boat project, then share them here.

New environmentally friendly head installed

Post by Jim Walsh »

Living an environmentally aware lifestyle is important to me. Since I found it necessary to replace my environmentally unfriendly head I spent the winter researching alternatives to the Victorian Age "crappers" to which we have all become accustomed. I considered a "Natures Head" with its composting features but discovered, and finally decided upon, an "Open Air Head". Mounting it was fast and simple, there are no odors associated with it, and it has the added benefit of breaking down those puritanical barriers modern society has insidiously saddled us all with.
Don't forget to say, Hi!, If you see me sitting on the poop deck at your favorite harbor this summer!

Isn't this great!

C'mon, Jim! April Fools Day is long past... Great photo, though! Wonder if you can reach the helm if you just lean forward a bit.

David,
I've never reserved being a fool to just one day a year
Actually I had to remove the head to gain access to my diverter valve which had the audacity to fail after a mere 31 years of very limited use. Everything is back where it belongs. Much to the relief of my dock mates.

If you moved it back a foot or so, all you would need is the seat.

A heads-up move with the plumbing redesign, Jim. Very Impressive.

I would hesitate to look in your lazarette, though.

Happy cruising!

Caught me hook, line, and sinker! "We are NOT doing this," I said to my wife and son. "This is a joke," he said, "is there an April Fools thing that goes in May?"
