Here is a possible deal if you are good with your hands. I see about $500 in material and about 60 hours labor. You might want to also acquire the brackets and fiberglass battens to support a soft cover.
All components pre-bent gunwales, guards and hardware are available from DYER. A little time and effort could produce a nice dinghy worth at least $1500.
