Cape Dory 26D in Perfect Condition

Post by joemerchant »

One of the Antique Pickers I work with just found a Cape Dory 26D sitting covered in a barn that was only used one season before the owner passed away and his wife never parted with it. He said she will take $1000 for it if anyone is interested. Only needs new tires on the trailer from sitting around rotting for 30 years, otherwise like new. I would go for it, but my wife will not let me have another boat, even if it were free.

If this wasn't April 1, I'd be tempted to believe your post.

But just in case this isn't a joke, I will be first in line here! PM me.

Happy April Fools Day.

The story was true - but last year and the boat was a Pacific Seacraft Flica located in Sacramento, CA where a gentleman by the name of Don Patterson got the deal of a lifetime. The boat, he said, looked as though it just left the factory floor. I never have that kind of luck...
