CD28 Weight

My 28 ft. Cape Dory #227 weighs in at 13000 pounds every time I take it out
of the water on (so far) three different lifts. Now, it is what you have stored
in it that makes it count.

I do carry over 300 feet of chain in the pointy end as well as five batteries, and,
that is just the beginning!

But, it sure sails well with all the weight!

You are carrying the equivalent of my Corvette, three crew members, and a cabin boy over your designed displacement. Either the scales used to weigh your boat need to be certified or I've got to check my garage to be certain my Corvette is still there.
