1976 Cape Dory 25 for Sale

Selling my CD 25 for a bigger boat. Asking $5000. New trailer when I bought the boat 2 years ago made by Sea Lion. New Tohatsu 9.8 long shaft, electric start motor with battery charger bought in spring 2012. Extensive teak work done to revive the majority of the exterior wood which has not been maintained for quite some time. Bottom paint was completely stripped and repainted last spring as well. Some rudder repair work was done also as the fiberglass was peeling away. There are a few other projects I had planned to do but have not yet gotten done. I had the genoa repaired and the cushions cleaned. I spent weekends on the boat and really enjoyed every minute of sailing I did on her. Boat is located in Henderson Harbor on Lake Ontario but I will deliver to most points in the North East and Mid Atlantic.

The hull and deck are in very good shape. There is some age related cracking on the deck due to not being cared for before I bought it. The areas on the mast step and shroud/ deck area have no cracks and are in great shape.

The boat hasn't been in the water in 2 seasons but has been under cover and cared for. The engine has only 1 seasons worth of use on it and the trailer has only a few hundred miles.

The boat is located in Henderson Harbor, NY but I will deliver to most places in NE, mid Atlantic and eastern part of mid west.
