Deiter Empacher designed, hull #5 built in 1984, this is the Cape Dory version featuring immaculate, floor to ceiling teak joinery. A little beamier than the 27, Morveren is a centerboard vessel (3'/7') that is ideal for shoaly waters such as the coastal NC sounds.

New mast wiring run from panel to masthead and includes marine coax for masthead antenna, and New power for steaming, deck, and anchor lights.
New masthead LED anchor lights
Some of cabin lights replaced with high intensity LED reading lamps

Hear ye, hear ye; pricing on Morveren is reduced.

I've had some good nibbles on her, but the market is just not quite up to my asking price - I get it - therefore going to $10,000. Let's dicker from there. Any serious offer considered. Don't forget - she comes with a 3-axle trailer if you want to move her yourself *and* a Trinka yacht tender WITH SAILING RIG and canvas cover.

Good morning from sunny Florida!

Your lowered price certainly got my attention. I own a CD 270 in SW Florida (1984 also, Hull #7), and have long considered another 270 for my home sailing waters in Minnesota.

I've been compiling a rather long list of questions regarding your vessel, and was hoping we could chat by phone. Please call me at 763-360-8200 whenever it is convenient for you...
