My CD31 is for sale
1985 Cape Dory CD31.
I am selling my CD31 cutter sailboat. I have this boat set up for blue water sailing and nothing but the best has gone in to it. I have sailed this boat many miles including single handed gulf passages and motoring most of the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway. Some of the gear includes:
1. Icom M710 HF radio
2. Raymarine SPX 10 below deck autopilot with controls at helm and in cabin
3.
4. Frigaboat refrigeration with keel cooler
5. 180 watt solar system on bracket that allow the panels to tilt
6. MPPT solar controller
7. Lowrance 7 inch chart plotter on swivel bracket
8. Garmin 440 chart plotter on ram mount at helm
9. Raymarine gauges
10. Lowrance broadband radar
11. Macerator
12. Aries wind steering
13. Wisker pole
14. Double inventory of sails
15. Club footed staysail.
16. The boat is set up for 460 Amp Hours of house bank under the salon floor and separate starting battery
17. Reverse cycle air conditioning
18. Off shore PFD’s
19. 2 Harnesses and jack lines,
20. Pure 12 volt water maker (not installed)
21. LED tri color with strobe
22. All cabin lights LED,
We spent seven days in the Dry Tortugas on the hook and between the adjustable solar panels and LED lighting and superefficient refrigeration we never needed to start the engine to recharge.
I do not see myself using the boat anytime soon therefore I have decided to let someone else enjoy it. The CD31 has a keel stepped mast, 84 gallons of water storage in three tanks, 28 gallon holding tank, 20 gallon fuel tank. You can see the specs here, http://www.capedory.org/specs/cd31.htm the boat currently does not have s bimini or Dodger.

Re: My CD31 is for sale
Sounds like you've got a fine vessel there. Are there any photos to go along with that impressive resume of amenities and gadgets?

Re: My CD31 is for sale
No Kevin, the way you'd do it is follow the instructions given.
For example, I use Photobucket. Easy to upload to there.
Then I edit the photo for size. Click on edit and Enter the number 650 and the 2nd number will enter automatically,
Then save that photo.
Once it is saved, you can go to the right side of the page and click on where it says Share links. I use the Image. You click once and the item automatically copies.
Then you return here. Look above and see Img, click that and it does this: so then just put cursor between those two center brackets and click. The image paste will zip in. Then just make sure you have only the with the paste item entered once between Img things.
It's awkward, but with a lot of patience and good reading glasses you might succeed!

Re: My CD31 is for sale
Obviously still not smart enough. Photobuckrt would not let me shrink the pics down to 650 only 65 which made them tiny. Email me at captainkevin@yachtboy.net and I will be more than glad to send you some. Feel free to call me at 254.595.0022

Re: My CD31 is for sale
Can I admit that I just plain love the 31's interior layout? Had I been smarter, I would have waited another year to get one...
Wet locker/head next to the companionway, keel stepped mast, room in the galley.
She's very pretty and I wish the new owner great success.
