I bought a 1980 Ty Weekender this fall and have not had a chance to see it fully rigged. I am curious to know the vertical distance from the deck to the boom when it is suspended from the boom hanger, and the vertical distance from the cabin top to where the boom attaches to the mast. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Ty Weekender Question
Craig- If you look under "Where to Look" there's a button for my "Regalo" website which shows some photos. This might give you a rough idea.

Re: Ty Weekender Question
Craig, Do you have a main sail? If so, set up the mast and boom. Leave the boom on deck or as far down the mast as the gooseneck will allow. Then hoist the main so the halyard shackle is nearly at the opening to the mast head halyard block or car. Attach the foot of the main to the boom using the bolt rope on the sail. Also attach the clew and tack. Now measure the dimensions you are looking for.
