I pulled out my storm jib and found that the hanks had rust and had spotted the jib with dime to quarter size rust spots. Other than the spots the sail is in excellent condition. Any suggestions on removing rust spots from the sail? Thanks in advance to all who respond. Mark and "OM"

Mark,I had good results with a similar rust stain by using a product called-"Magica Rust Remover".Had to apply it 3-4 times or more but each succeeding application lessened the stains until they became indiscernable.Make sure you wash it off well with plenty of mild soap and water,and you might want to consider replacing that rusting hardware with something more stable.Good luckMark wrote: I pulled out my storm jib and found that the hanks had rust and had spotted the jib with dime to quarter size rust spots.
