Yamaha announced a new 8hp, 4 cycle, 83lbs, ELECTRIC START, 6 Amp Alternator, 20/25" SHAFT, tiller handle throttle & gearshift...it may be the ideal auxilary power for the CD26 & CD25

I have a yamaha 9.9 four stroke that moves my 25 Cape Dory nicely. Works particularly well coming in inlets when the tide is ripping out.Will be interested to hear how well the 8 four stroke does.

Along that same thought, I have a 1985 Honda 10hp longshaft, 4 stroke outboard for sale. This motor has the 5 amp alternator and very few hours. VERY clean. Located in Mpls, Mn
