A great video! I followed up a few links to find this nice summary, by the author, of the repairs s/v Thelonious required during and after the voyage. Very enlightening and a great lesson in preparation for an extended cruise. Our boats are sturdy... and fragile!

One tremendous film!!! I have never seen a better one and so well narrated. Were I 30 years younger I would love to take a trip like this one!

Delightful, inspirational video, well shot, well narrated and with a fine musical soundtrack. Thanks for posting the link, this was a perfect thing to watch during a foggy, rainy December evening when the boat sits on the hard and I miss the sea.

Wanting to be clean shaven when starring in a film that will be seen by nearly 20,000 people may not be an uncommon decision.

I agree; no fault with the video, just curious questions.

Note that twice the AIS alarm sounded, and twice there were GIGANTIC ships exactly one mile away. I suspect that's for the drama of the video... I"m pretty sure if I was sleeping with the benefit of a proximity alarm and worried about ships that size, I'd go for something longer range.
