Funky Dory haul out

Post by Hymodyne »

Had the FD hauled out at Nanticoke Harbor this morning with the tide. After sailing a short season, Sept. to now, we had minimal build up on the hull, and the new thru hull for the inboard and the folding propeller were virtually free of barnacles; I had coated the exposed portion of the propeller shaft and the propeller parts with surfboard wax, melted and painted on with a brush.

For her first season, the A4 inboard we installed worked very well. some minor issues with points adjustment have me leaning toward a dynaspark module or the like, but we were able to motor out to sail and in to our slip with no issues.
