Owners Registry

Something has happened to the Owner's Registry. When I try to access it I just get a long string of gobbledygook.

It appears that the registry has been hacked.

If you scroll all the way down to the bottom it says "Script and registry modified from the original Guestbook by Matt Wright. L> L> L> " The name, Matt Wright, is a link and if you click on it you get directed to an advertising site.

I contacted the webmaster. Unfortunately the owners registry was run by the CCDSOA and they are not maintaining it so it looks like the registry as we knew and loved it has ceased to exist.

I have such a hard time understanding why someone would go to the trouble to hack a page like that one. What could they hope to gain except to spoil someone else's good time. So sad.

Knowing nothing about maintaining web sites I wonder if it is possible for CDSOA to start are own registry?
