Friends, I am at the end of a project involving the re-installation of a club boom and staysail, and the beginning of a project to replace my worm gear steering with a tiller. I have two questions:
1) What is the correct distance between the deck attachment points of the jibstay and the forestay? I have a staysail that I believe may be an original, that has a very loose foot when attached with the provided attachments. I think I may have the forestay anchored too far aft. Also helpful would be the distance between the base of the forestay and the very end of the club boom.
2) What is the proper length for a tiller? I am sure a CD28 or CD27 would be a good comparison as well.
Thanks,
Doug

Re: CD30 Cutter forestay and tiller dimensions please
The staysail padeye is about 14" behind the forestay on Guppy.
The tiller extends about 2" forward of the seat/bridgedeck when centered. When we tack, it points right at the winches for a moment, and is about 6" away from the washboard...
Good call with removing the worm gear! Can you post a picture of how you're filling in where the box will be removed?

Correction- the staysail tack hardware is 36" aft the forestay mount.
