Hi Rob, I tried to respond but my email to you comes back undelivered.
Anyway here is the note:
Sorry to hear you didn't get in the water. We launched mid-June, pulled out Oct 28.

I replaced the wires to the mast, your idea seems to be a good one, you could probably do a nicer job that way with better protection. I ran the wires from the switch box to the head and out to a connector in one run. Couldn't fish behind the headliner so I used a wire cover similar to spiral wrap. I couldn't find a suitable thru deck fitting, so I replaced the glob of silicone that was there. Not perfect, but...(so another project not really scratched off the list.)

My breastplate is also a bit rusty, I was planning to scrape, and repaint as it doesn't look to be in too bad shape. I hope I m not surprised, this is not a project I would look forward to doing.

Sure was surprised to see your message to me on the 'board'. It seems I have some problems with the '7' falling off when folks try to reply to my messages.

I appreciate your comments. I am using some of the winter to finish up projects, and add to the list of course. Plan to install a dripless shaft device now that everything else has been done below the waterline.
