Harken block for Monitor
This is the Harken cheek block I used to replace the worn out original.

Re: Harken block for Monitor
Probably an improvement, the blocks in the monitor kinda stink, the sheaves are too narrow and cause a lot of chafe. I have to replace the control lines pretty often, every 3000 miles or so.

Re: Harken block for Monitor
The Monitor is new to me and all the sheaves were shot. I got the cheek blocks as clearance items on Harkens website for 14 bucks. A rare deal. The rest of the sheaves were Ronstan (RF1759) which I bought new on eBay from a vendor. Couldn't find the exact fit so I ground them down to the proper width by hand on an orbital sander. Actually pretty easy to do. The prices through Monitor was just outrageous.
