Jenn and I had never heard of the Mast Mate, so we looked at the company website. Ingenious!

Also, something one could easily make themselves, if they have a heavy sewing machine. (not sure about patent infringement).

We use a standard mountain climbing harness with chest straps, and a canvas bosun's chair for going aloft, using two halyards. This system would avoid all the winch cranking and, in a pinch, could be done singlehandedly.

Curious to hear if other owners use/like Mast Mate.
