Hello Fello Sailors!
We'll spring is upon us soon and we're getting our 31 ready to sail her from Portsmouth, NH up to Nova Scotia.
We learned in our shake down cruise after we purchased the boat last August that we really need a bimini top for sun-blocking and ease of use with the mainsail hoisted.
We're wondering if any of you have used the Sailrite kit for a 31 or other CD of nearly that length. If so, and you could share your your experience with the kit, we'd appreciate it. We want a sturdy bimini that can also be folded up for storage, storm, etc.
We already have a heavy sewing machine that we bought to make a winter cover, so we just need to know about your experiences with the bimini kit.
Thanks, and we wish all of you great sailing in '14!

Don't have info on Bimini but do you have any pics of your winter cover? I used some tarps this year but it was not ideal.
Thanks
