There are four screws holding the teak oval at the tiller base (top of the rudder shaft) to the floor. I was able to reach through the rear access port and could feel the ends of the screws and they felt like self tapping screws. Can someone confirm that the four screws are just self taping screws and pulling that teak piece off is just a matter of removing the screws?
Thanks for the help.

I took one off my CD25 and I assume it is the same. It is also bedded in so you will need a putty knife and maybe a little heat. Those are the only mechanical fastenings.

Thanks for the info. It was pretty obvious they were self tapping but just wanted to check.
