CD22 Standing Rigging
I'm looking into replacing the standing rigging on my '81 CD22 which I can only assume is original. I got a quote from Dwyer for ~$750 and was wondering if this quote is about what's to be expected? Kind of exceeds my budget at the moment - actually my wife's budget for my Christmas present.

You really should give www.riggingonly.com a call & opportunity for a quote.

Another vote for Rigging Only. I replaced the standing rigging on my Ty DS two years ago for about half your quote (I know it is a different boat - but not that different). I had no point of reference so I priced out the components at Defender. The cost of the components alone (wire, ends, toggles, turnbuckles) were more than the fully fabbed, delivered price from RO. In addition I dropped my existing rigging off on a Tuesday in Fairhaven and had the completed rigging delivered on Friday morning.

Bill, Jeff;
Thanks for the responses. I've sent a request for a quote to Rigging Only.

I have a Catalina 27 that was quoted at $750 for every thing (Forestay, backstay, upper shrouds and 4 lower shrouds). Not an exact comparison. Your quote sounds a little high to me.
