Has anyone replaced the fresh water hot water heater on their CD-28 power boat. Is there a way to do it short of removing the engine or cutting a hole in the cabin sole above the tank?
Thanks

Re: CD-28 Power - Hot water heater replacement?
Our boat, hull #19, has a false bottom in the locker above the hot water tank. I guess it has already been replaced. We actually don't use it and I am contemplating removing it.

I just replaced the water heater on my CD-30. The round 6 gallon Raritan of today is 1 and 1/2 inches greater in diameter than the OEM Raritan. About three years ago all manufacturers began adding more insulation. I was able to install one of the rectangular stainless steel units that measured 13x13x19. It fit into the locker quite nicely.Jack wrote: Has anyone replaced the fresh water hot water heater on their CD-28 power boat.
