Does anyone know where Triangle Marine (The one that now owns the the molds for the CD 27) is and if they are producing boats with the CD 27 molds?
Thanks

I don't think Newport Shipbuilders bought them. None of the other folks listed ethier. I think a lot depends on how many hulls they orginally pulled out of the 30 mold. It think the average life is about 200 boats per mold. If the mold was starting to be in poor shape or reaching that magic number, builders may not have been interested in paying to have the mold replaced. It's a pretty heavy purchase outlay.
