I've replaced the original (?) blue naugahyde-type covers on the V-deck and quarter berth cushions in my Ty Weekender. They were either too "sticky" or too slippery to sleep on, so I've covered the foam with a softer waterproof heavy duty nylon (a nice teal green), with stronger, waterproof YKK #5 zippers. They turned out quite nice. I shortened the quarter berth cushions/covers by about half (extending just past the companion way bulkhead), and installed Dri-dek in the remaining space back to the stern (under the cockpit hatches).
I'd like to basically give away ONLY the covers... and am only asking for the cost of shipping (which I estimate, via USPS Priority, to be 18-$25?). They are in very good shape; no stains, and the zippers are fully functional. They have rigid white pipiing along the edges. They are from a 1977 Weekender. They are cushion covers for the two qtr. berths, the two V-deck cushion covers, and the middle (trapezoidal) V-deck cushion cover, and are of blue, waterproof naugahyde-like material.
I can send pictures if desired. I've never used the CDSOA board like this before, but I'm assuming you can contact me with a PM, and we can go from there. For your calculations, I ship from SW Oregon. Sadly, if no one wants them, they'll either be repurposed (read: cut up and resewn into something else) or subjected to some even sadder fate.
Thanks for any interest.
