Wanted CD10
Re: Wanted CD10
I've seen several CD 10s on Craigslist in the New England area. They seem to be going for $2000 to $3500. A pretty boat, but are they really worth that much?

Re: Wanted CD10
I have a CD10 for sale in Fairhaven, Mass. It comes with the complete sailing rig including centerboard, rudder, tiller, spars, halyard and sheet (all new or in very good condition), and an almost new sail. New seven-foot oars with bronze oarlocks. Summer 2012 the hull interior was sanded and repainted with Kirby's #15 "Straw," and the mahogany seats and trim were removed, stripped, repaired, and all surfaces given five coats of varnish. The aft rowing seat was moved six inches forward to improve trim. The rub rail was repaired (bad sections replaced with new mahogany) and revarnished. The hull exterior is original gelcoat, which, as usual for these boats, has some hairline crazing, but a good paint job would bring the boat to near-perfect condition. Asking $1800. 508-993-2435.

You can buy a Corinthian or even an old Typhoon for $2500. Then again, Optis can go for $3k, so I guess it's all relative.
