Garmin GPS Datum

Does anyone know the datum format (i.e. WGS84, NAD83, or NAD27) used by a Garmin Colorado 400C?

I would guess the current datum WGS84. That is just a guess. My Garmin Map76 has a setting that you can choose any datum from a huge long list, for use anywhere in the world. My newer Garmin Chartplotter does not have as many features of the old handheld Map76. I looked a the manual on-line, it did not give any indication that the map datum could be changed. Maybe an e-mail or phone call to Garmin would be in order.
