Galley Sink Drain 1981 CD 28

Hi all,
I have run out of ideas. My galley sink has a 3 1/2" hole and a 1 3/4" slip nut that holds a funnel type plastic drain. The drain funnel tailpiece is 1/2". This connects to the 3/4" seacock below it. I want to replace that drain tailpiece with something stout, barbed, and 3/4". If anyone has been down this road, I'd welcome some good advice here. My eyes are bloodshot from searching for a solution.

Give this a try.....

Standard sink drain, ABS swivel, 90's, reducing bushing, barb, wet exhaust hose.
Daily use for a year with no leaks.

Thanks for the quick reply and the pic. That looks like a strong arrangement. I'm guessing that we have the same sink outlet. I'm wondering about that reducing bushing (white). I've found sources for 1 1/4 to 3/4, but not 1 1/2 to 3/4. Was that something you made? If not, do you know where I could locate one?

I'm hoping to go straight down to the seacock w/o the 90's, as I need room to access the engine.

It's a 1-1/2" to 1-1/4" nylon bushing, then a 1-1/4" - 3/4", then a male pipe to hose barb.
Should be standard stock anywhere. I got mine at Fisheries Supply in Seattle.

I have the 90's because I moved my sink, which is deeper than the stock sink, to where the icebox used to be but I'm, so far, still using the original seacock.

Thanks for that, Rorik. It helped me out. I found these at Grainger, and I think they'll do the trick. I'm no plumber, so if anyone can tell me if I'm making a mistake here, I'd welcome it.

standard sink to 1 1/2" Banjo fitting to 1 1/2"-3/4" reducer to 3/4" mpt to barb.
