I had previously posted on the house battery box that I was building modeled on pages 76 - 78 of Nigel Calder's Boat Owner's Mechanical And Electrical Manual, 3rd edition.
As described in the book, I fiberglassed all of the inside and the corners and edges of the outside with epoxy resin. I think this is where it will go:
I had wanted to leave access to the side of the engine, but this is the most logical place to put the batteries. Even golf cart batteries are heavy at 60+ lbs and I prefer to be able to host them up the companion way with the boom.
