Northeast Fleet: Southern New England Cruise and Rendezvous

Attention all Northeast Fleet members:

Joe Montana, Dick Barthel and yours truly have set the itinerary for this summer's first Southern New England Cruise and Northeast Fleet Rendezvous.

The specifics have yet to be worked out, but the dates are from August 16 through August 23. Stopping/anchoring/float-in points are: Watch Hill, RI. to Point Judith Pond, RI; Third Beach (Sakonnet River, RI to New Bedford, MA; New Bedford to Red Brook Harbor, MA.

The Fleet Rendezvous will be Thursday-Friday, August 22 and 23, in Red Brook Harbor, MA, where Fleet Captain Joe Myerson and Fleet First Mate Lynne Johnson will host a gathering at their house overlooking Scotch House Cove (part of Red Brook Harbor). More info to follow as we work out details.

If you're coming from the north... I suspect I'll be sailing from Boston with a stop in Scituate. Not sure yet how far in advance of Red Brook I'll be leaving and so I don't know how far west I'll get overall. That said, let's coordinate our cruising as best we can.
