Looking for sailing opportunities in San Francisco bay Area

Good afternoon to all! I have a question for anyone out in the San Francisco Bay area. My son is graduating from Michigan State University and is relocating from Michigan to the SF Bay area this spring . He loves to sail and I was wondering if anyone has advice or some contacts at local clubs where he might be able to do some crewing or join as a junior member to get some small boat sailing in. He is very excited about the move and looks forward to the opportunity to sample the local sailing. Thanks in advance for any tips!

You could check out Cass marina in Sausalito. They are supposed to be reopening. It was a nice club where boats could be rented inexpensively. We rented a Bristol 24 there a couple of years ago.

One of the best ways to find a boat or crew in the Bay Area is through Latitude 38's Crew Lists. Here is the link for some great Bay Sailing.
