CD25 Engine well size?

I purchased a CD 25 this past year with a 7.5 hp Merc. The engine is kind of old and i would like to replace it next year. I know there is limited space in the engine well and am curious what other people have in their boats. I am looking for about an 8 hp. Any sugestions on engines that you know will work or not would be helpful. Thanks
