I've always had problems with spiders in the rigging, under the mainsail cover and crapping all over the cabin/deck.
Well, good news, NO MORE. Since installing one Hot Shot No Pest strip under the mainsail cover not one spider crap in over 1 month on either the cabin top or deck. It's hard for me to believe, but my eyes don't deceive me!

I have to agree. I have been using them for years. The spiders were bad enough, but the wasp feed on spiders and that can become a real big problem. Now if I figure out a way to keep them out of the furled jib....

No that you mention wasps, I too, now have no paper wasps hanging around.tjr818 wrote:I have to agree. I have been using them for years. The spiders were bad enough, but the wasp feed on spiders and that can become a real big problem. Now if I figure out a way to keep them out of the furled jib....
I too get a few in the rolled up headsail as well. Not many though and last time out I managed to shake of the two that were climbing up the leech..
If they ever get bad I'm contemplating using a cover that I hoist over the entire headsail and hang a No Pest strip inside.

Hi Randy,
Thanks for posting this information. I can't wait to try the product and end my sport of "spider over the side" and clean-up under the dodger routine!
Come-on spring!
