Re: Typhoon Cradle Plans
The cradle I have, which came from the factory, was made using two 8' 4x4s for the base rails and two more 4x4s both cut in half to connect the two 8' rails. That makes a 4' x 8' base. I'll measure the separation of the two supports and post after 1/1.
Then all you would need to do is cut a 4'x8' piece of 3/4" ply (or 5/8") in half to make the supports. The cutout for the supports would be done using cardboard as a pattern to get the hull shape before cutting the ply to shape. Use a couple of 2x4s to sure up the supports.
I would use a couple of the swim toy noodles along the ply edges to prevent the hull from rubbing.
Also I would use Pressure Treated lumber for all of it.

Re: Typhoon Cradle Plans
I was hoping for a set of plans where I could make the cradle before I have the boat. I will be looking at a few boats to buy this week.

If that does not materialize, other than the pattern for the hull shape, the provided info should get you there. Perhaps take two pieces of cardboard with you to scribe the hull shape at two points about 6' apart. At this time of year it should be easy enough to find a Ty on the hard to use as a template. Measure up from the ground to establish a reference on where to place the low point of the supports.
