Might turn out to be a good deal, but it might be just promotion by the broker.

He claims that the reserve price is lower than the advertised price.
That's no consolation because:
-at the moment, this is the highest-priced CD 36 listed on Yachtworld ($64,000)
-there's no guarantee that it will sell at the highest bid price, because the broker says "this sale is subject to bank approval"
- The broker gets attention by saying " The Banks going to take the highest offer", but then he contradicts himself by saying "How low they will go will probably depend on how long they have to hold it"

I wouldn't be surprised if this broker wasn't just trying to generate leads and publicity.

If you are looking for a 36 it wouldnt hurt to bid, it could be a good deal, interior looks in above average condition considering its age (and hoping the pictures are recent) and its been repowered as well. Sure it might turn out the reserve is super high, but nothing ventured nothing gained.

It is a bank repo and the price just went down.

Wow! I have been aboard Solo Tu, but it was sometime ago. The first big CD I was ever on. A sailing acquaintance that was slipped in the next berth was checking on it for the owners while they were out of town. Late 90's I would guess. Pretty Boat!
