perko oil lamp
hello all, i have a small bulkhead mounted oil lamp on my cd 27,it has perko england on it. does anyone know where to get parts? globe, smoke bell, ect. thanks
Re: perko oil lamp
You might see if the Weems and Plath parts are usable; certainly a wall-mount smoke bell should be usable. Defender carries them.
Many globes are standard-sized although there are a lot of sizes. I have found some globes for antique, non-marine oil lamps at our local hardware store (True Value). I think you need a moderately close base diameter and a roughly close height.

My catboat had a similar British-made lamp, and I had trouble finding a replacement globe.
However, I believe New England Ropes in New Bedford stocks them. Contact Paul Adam, who handles the recreational items.
