Was wondering how typhoon owners have their outboards setup. With the original O.B. bracket & a short shaft O.B. the prop comes out of the water too often. Yet a long shaft seems like it would drag in the water. Replacing the bracket seems like the most logical solution.....

i have a johnson 6 with a 25" shaft and alternator on the origional bracket and it works fine. the prop clears the water by a good foot.C.C. wrote: Was wondering how typhoon owners have their outboards setup.
