Blood on fiberglass
Hi all Does anyone know of a product that removes blood from fiberglass?
How about a technique?
Thanks JBA

Re: Blood on fiberglass
Hmm,
I think a boat not stained with at least 10 parts sweat, 5 parts blood, and a good measure of tears is not being sailed. There are such things...aka: powerboaters.

Re: Blood on fiberglass
Just how much blood are we talking about?
A little will fade away along with the memory of losing it, Steve.

Are we talking a CSI quantity or just a busted knuckle? For the later if it hasn't dried too long, I have always had good luck with the beer I was drinking when it happend. If it has dried for several days, you might try Hydrogen Peroxide.

The flogging will continue until there is an improvement in morale.

Soft Scrub has worked miracles on Yankee's decks. But dried blood, metaphorical or otherwise, is tough to remove....

Baking soda scrub, followed by vinegar.
If should help. And it's environmentally friendly.
Just remember to use it immediately after disposing of the body.

fels naptha soap
Personally, I just leave it there figuring that someday someone will be able to clone me from the blood on my sails alone. Fels naptha soap takes dried blood right out of clothing. You might try that

Amazon's Teak Cleaner claims it will remove fish blood. Or try some household bleach, straight or diluted.
