I recently had a very refreshing and happy experience with Spartan Marine. I will not bore folks with the details. Suffice it to state the "customer service" I received from them was absolutely first class.
When I participated in the 2007 Maine Cruise I had an opportunity to look at Spartan Marine a little. A classic and quaint New England small store.
This was my first time in actually talking with folks at Spartan Marine. It will not be my last. I assume I will need replacement parts, etc. from time to time for S/V Bali Ha'i. My first (and hopefully only) call will be to Spartan Marine. Great service ; Great attitude Great customer support
Fair winds,

Had to have some advice replacing some seacocks on my CD27. They were very helpful in determining which seacocks needed replacement and which ones just needed lapping and greasing. They saved me a bundle on unnecessary replacements and got me those that I did need. First class service all the way.
I needed a replacement raw water seacock and other parts urgently.
Paul at Spartan took my order over the phone, and they arrived home in Australia in 4 days.
Now that is service. Well done Spartan.
I echo the same sentiments. I just received a set of stuffing box wrenchs ordered last thursday. The time taken to become acquinted with Spartan was was well spent. They offered really good advice concerning packing the stuffing box and the service was top notch. They were surprised to hear that there is a CD in Arkansas!
