Replacing jib fairleads on CD27

Post by Russell Cooper »

I need to replace the inboard jib fairleads on my CD27. My problem is the Schaefer hardware that I have is on a 3/4" T-track and the only 3/4" fairleads that I've found look too light weight (dinghy hardware). I'd like to avoid having to replace the track as well. Anyone know where I can buy what I need?

My notes indicate your jib sheet is 7/16" x 60'. For 3/4 inch track, you may wish to take a look at Schaefer 03-72 (Silver Block Face) or 303-72 (Black Block Face) spring loaded lead car blocks. They are 1000# rated for 7/16" line. Your existing track should be able to be reused.
