Just bought a 1975 Typhoon here in MA but I need a trailer to get it up to ME. Anyone know where I can get one?

Check with Michael Chasse at Northeast Sailboat Rescue-
He will probably have one or two in stock. He's in Freeport, ME and also has a few Typhoons, Ensigns, and many other of Carl's boats for sale.
He has a CD 22 right now. He will horsetrade if you are interested.
Sat am is usually an open house. Call first. 207-729-2490

Thanks, I visited him this morning. He had one rusty old trailer for $1695. The lights didn't work and need to be replaced and it sure needed paint. I suppose it was alright but the price seemed awfully high for what it was.
How much should I expect to pay for a used trailer in decent condition?

Re: Trailer for Sail :)
Agreed. For a used trailer priced at $1500+, I would expect it to be road-ready and galvanized, not in need of attention and rusty.chomeur wrote:Thanks, I visited him this morning. While my intent is to put a Ty on it, not to sell it, I just completely rebuilt a galvanized, dual axle trailer - new leaf springs, new bearings, new galvanized hubs (2), new LED lights, 2 new tires (other 2 are good enough - no brakes), all configured with bunks for a Typhoon.
Again, not really planning to sell it, but as they say, everything I own is for sale... If interested, please make an offer. It is in VA.
