Swimming is fun; but, getting back aboard is tough for this old man. I'd appreciate advice on type and placement of boarding ladders that others have found to work well on the CD 25.

Re: CD25 Boarding Ladder
Keith,
I bought the medium sized stainless tube folding ladder at West Marine. It was a little too long, and I ended up moving the stand-off legs up. Once that was done it worked fine. It still goes very deep into the water though and is a bit more demandig of storage space. I would just go with the shortest one they have next time.
I mounted the attachment clips on deck on the side of the cocpit just aft of the winch. I've got a lifeline stantion right next to it that serves as a grab handle on the way up. The ladder has a very solid feel to it, and I am able to fold it and store it in a cockpit locker. I tried rope and rope/pvc combination ladders in the past and gave up on them.
