My 1973 CD25 has it's original sails... they are dirty, baggy, and patched. However they are the sails I have, so we use them.
I am also an artist, and subsequently my boat budget is small (veerrryy small). But I am rich in glass (I am a glassblower), and have traded my work for two different sailboats, an inflatable dinghy and outboard, an outboard for the 25, and a grill for the boat.... I am seeking sails from 1985 or newer that someone would be willing to trade for glass. Depending on your asking price it could be for gift sized items, or lighting for your home, or some other custom creation. My work can be seen at www.portlandglassblowing.com
I am always open to other trades as well... but a new mainsail and genny would be great!
